The Center for Multicultural Equity & Access (CMEA) promotes educational excellence and racial equality at Georgetown University by serving African American, Latino, Asian American and Native American students, who were historically excluded from the university.
We dedicate ourselves to the academic success and personal development of these students and seek to ensure that they enjoy the full benefits and opportunities accorded by the University.
We inspire interest and hope in higher education, and provide access to college for first generation and low income students. We challenge the University to fulfill its mission as an exemplary community of faithful and caring learners; we insist that it can achieve this only by embracing the pluralism embodied by all its students and by working to build a more just society.
